The aim of Artful Splodgers is to encourage messy, creative play for toddlers to enjoy along with their parent or carer.

Your child can have lots of fun while socialising with other children of a similar age and mums (or dad's, grandma's and grandpa's - we have a whole mix of carers so don't be shy!) can meet other mums (etc) over a tea or coffee.

Each week there are two different fun crafts to be made as well as regular messy favourites that encourage interactive, stimulating play including play-dough, water play, painting and more.

Sessions finish with a drink, biscuits and a story relating to the weeks topic. Not forgetting the Sleeping Bunnies and Hokey Cokey singsong to round things off - the kids love this.

Best of all though is that the mess is left behind when you go home!

Artful Splodgers has recently been taken over by Morven Maciomhar (it's Scottish Gaelic, not easy) - a 'retired from the real world' graphic designer and mum to a wild but lovely 2 year old daughter. Oh, and a childhood passion for Blue Peter and all things creative!
